Residents that live in the Oakland area of the Chuckatuck Borough were notified of a boil water advisory Monday evening.

WAVERLY, Ohio — The Waverly Fire Department in Pike County announced on Tuesday that the water emergency order has been lifted for residents. A boil advisory is now in effect until further notice.

After a water main break, the Suffolk Department of Public Utilities issued a Boil Water Advisory for residents in the Oakland area of the Chuckatuck Borough.

Certain customers in the Smith Point community, in Chambers County, should boil their water before consuming it.
