Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a woman after an aggravated assault in Boston’s Mission Hill neighborhood.

A baby and mom were found shot in Dorchester driveway late last night in what the police commissioner is calling a “heinous” and “cowardly” act.

A baby and a woman were shot late Monday night in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood, and the search is on for the gunman who got away, Boston police say they responded around 11:39 p.m. to the scene where Ames Street meets Stratton Street -- not far from Harambee Park -- after a Shot Spotter alert and 911 calls for a report of a baby shot.
