Bereaved families and communities are coming together to mark the fifth anniversary of the start of the Covid-19 pandemic in a nationwide day of reflection. Hundreds of events and spaces for reflection have been organised by communities to remember those who died.

People are gathering in Dorset to mark five years since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. Dorset Council invited residents to meet at Memorial Corner, outside County Hall in Dorchester, for a minute of silence at 12:00 GMT as part of a national day of recollection.
