If the Seahawks end up trading Metcalf without a corresponding acquisition, they'll suddenly be thin at a position that was previously a strength. Just before news of Metcalf's trade request broke, Seattle released Lockett, who's played his entire 10-season career in Seattle.
Lockett spent a decade with the Seahawks, ranking second behind Steve Largent in career receptions, receiving yards and TD catches.
