The Tennessee Titans will have the luxury of selecting first overall in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft. They have needs across the depth chart, but there is a presumed likelihood that they will select a franchise quarterback to build around.
Jared Goff’s NFL career has had an interesting arc. The 2016 No. 1 overall pick guided the Los Angeles Rams to a Super Bowl in 2018, but after a two-year slump, the 26-year-old signal-caller was traded to the Detroit Lions for 33-year-old Matthew Stafford and a haul of draft picks.
Afterward, Lions 2025 Pro Bowler Frank Ragnow made a strong statement in support of Goff with passionate comments during a locker room interview. "So, so, so disappointed...Frustrated, sad," Ragnow said in the locker room about his feelings on the game before he was asked about Goff criticisms and support.
Teddy Bridgewater is in his 2nd stint with the Detroit Lions as Jared Goff's backup, having retired after the 2023 season and re-signing late in 2024.
