Bank of America, Capital One, Chase, Citibank and Wells Fargo will also be closed for MLK Day. Most local and Kansas City-based banks will also be closed on MLK and other federal holidays. The City of Kansas City trash services are closed on MLK Day for trash pick up.

He was taken to Harlem Hospital where his physician, Dr. Aubré D. Maynard, said, “If you had sneezed, your aorta would have been punctured and you would have drowned in your own blood.”
