Ann Wick's parachute "fully" deployed "as designed" before her death, according to the skydiving company A 55-year-old woman from Minnesota died in a skydiving incident in Arizona last week, authorities said.
Ann Wick, a registered nurse who grew up in Burnsville, had jumped hundreds of times before, her brother said.
Police responded to the skydiving center, where the 55-year-old Minnesota woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
An avid skydiver who had made nearly 300 jumps died in a parachuting accident, Arizona police and news sources reported. Ann Wick, 55, of Minnesota, died in the accident at Sky Dive Arizona at about 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, the Eloy Police Department said in a news release.
