Front Row Motorsports maintained its strong position out front at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway with 24-year driver Zane Smith convincingly claiming the first pole position of his NASCAR Cup Series career -- the third consecutive at the track for his team.

Zane Smith snatched his first career NASCAR Cup Series pole position in Saturday's qualifying session at Talladega. The 25-year-old Front Row Motorsports driver now sets his sights on his first career win in Sunday's Jack Link's 500.

Smith's previous best start in the Cup Series is only seventh, coming at Atlanta earlier this year. His lap time at Talladega was simply stunning, beating the No. 8 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet of Kyle Busch by over a tenth (0.132s).
