A water main break at East 22nd Street and Dr. Andrew J. Brown is flooding roadways, creating traffic issues and dropping water pressure March 27, 2025.

Citizens Energy Group issued the advisory following the water main break March 27 near 22nd Street and Andrew J. Brown Avenue. The break caused area streets to significantly flood and some customers to lose service. Several roads are closed and it’s unclear when they will reopen.

Gallons of water poured into the streets in the northeast side neighborhood. Blocks were flooded. Greenfield Signs & Lighting was a businesses right in middle of the flood zone. Steve Overbey, the shop foreman, was working in the building when he noticed water.
