Giovanni El-Hadi has a lot of experience, and he earned All-Big Ten Honorable Mention honors this season. He was a very important player on offense and that experience is needed next year.

Michigan football already got one transfer portal commitment on Sunday with former UMass and Arizona wide receiver Anthony Simpson pledging to the maize and blue. But the Wolverines weren’t done getting transfer portal pledges on the day.

Michigan’s football program has dipped into the transfer portal to land a new long snapper for 2025. UCLA’s Trent Middleton announced his commitment to the Wolverines on Thursday in a social media post. “Beyond blessed to say I have committed to the University of Michigan,” he wrote accompanied by a graphic of him in a Wolverines uniform.
