[Andrei Istodorescu] has been hard at work building a 7″ touch ... the screen. It uses HDMI for the video interface with the driver board, and the touchscreen connects to one of the USB ports.

Despite a somewhat shaky start, it seems like everyone is finally embracing USB ... the main PCB — that same modularity also means it was relatively easy to develop a USB-C upgrade board.
