Whatever commitment issues Brandon Ingram had while he was a member of the New Orleans Pelicans have disappeared. It did not take long for the newest Toronto Raptors star to sign an extension with the organization after his arrival.

The Raptors will be the third team the former No. 2 overall pick has played for in his professional career. Shortly after the blockbuster deal, Ingram signed a three-year extension with Toronto. In an introduction press conference, the elite wing explained his reasoning for being with his new franchise for the long run.

In one of the more shocking moves at the deadline, the Toronto Raptors pulled off a trade to acquire star forward Brandon Ingram from the New Orleans Pelicans. Ingram then signed an extension to keep him in Toronto for three more seasons,

Brandon Ingram was among the biggest names to be traded at the NBA trade deadline. Because his contract is set to expire, it was imperative that his new team, the Toronto Raptors, extend him as soon as possible.
