Funk innovator George Clinton, The Doobie Brothers’ Tom Johnston, Michael McDonald and Patrick Simmons and The Beach Boys’ Mike Love are among this year’s inductees of the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Also set for induction: Country music songwriter Ashley Gorley,
