The recall pertains to certain four-packs of Martinelli's 10-ounce round glass apple juice bottles sold across 28 states, including Arizona. It was sparked by concern over potential patulin contamination,

According to the FDA, the recall is due to the potential presence of patulin, a toxin mainly found in rotting apples. Patulin contamination can occur in a variety of apple products, including apple juice, sauce, puree, ciders or baby food. Consuming contaminated products can cause nausea, gastrointestinal issues and vomiting.
