Metro Denver bus drivers and train operators have reached a tentative deal with RTD for raises that would push the starting hourly pay above $30 in 2027.

The A Line, which runs between Union Station and Denver International Airport, is RTD's most popular rail line.

An RTD bus driver appeared to be “nodding off” when he ran a red light and caused a six-vehicle crash over the summer, according to video and documents from the incident. Matt Mauro reports.
