Algeria signed an agreement with US energy giant Chevron on Wednesday aimed at assessing potential offshore oil resources in the Mediterranean, according to the country's energy ministry.
The same drones were exchanged for access to oil reserves in Nigeria, where they are used in the fight against Boko Haram, a jihadist movement that plagues this most populous country in Africa.
