IDUKKI: Tamil Nadu Rural Development Minister I Periyasamy on Tuesday ruffled feathers in Kerala after he asserted that water level in the Mullaperiyar dam will be raised to 152 feet.

Water level in Mullaperiyar dam on Monday stood at 120.25 feet (maximum permissible level is 142 ft.) with an inflow of 220 cusecs and a discharge of 556 cusecs. The level in Vaigai dam was 65.32 ft.
