John W. Maurer, 93, Sinking Spring, died Feb. 6, 2011, at ManorCare Health Services, West Reading. He was the husband of Ruth L. (Potteiger) Maurer, with whom he shared 68 years of marriage on Jan. 9.

John P. “Jack” Maurer, 76, Wyomissing, died Jan. 25, 2009, in Reading Hospital, where he was a patient for a brief time. He was married 44 years to his loving wife, Marie Louise Maurer.
