Apple and Google Must Pay Multibillion-Dollar Fines After Losing EU Appeals
Europe's top court has issued bad news to both Apple and Google in a single day. The Silicon Valley tech giants have been appealing fines issued by the EU, and on Tuesday the court ruled against both companies, meaning that they must cough up to the tune of 13 billion euros ($14.4 billion) for Apple and 2.4 billion euros ($2.7 billion) for Google.
