Nearly a year after the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, the National Transportation Safety Board is recommending that 68 U.S. bridges be evaluated for risk of vessel strikes.

The NTSB has identified the Dames Point as one of 68 bridges that needs a risk assessment in the wake of the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse.

The safety board issued recommendations as part of its ongoing investigation into the collapse of Baltimore’s Key Bridge last year after it was hit by a ship.
