The Milwaukee Fire Department's hazmat team determined a suspicious package the Milwaukee Election Commission received Friday was not hazardous.

The Milwaukee Election Commission says a suspicious piece of mail was sent to its office. Hazmat crews with the Milwaukee Fire Department are investigating.

Suspicious mail sent to the Milwaukee Election Commission office was tested by hazardous materials teams from the Fire Department.
