Disney World is converting the shuttered Star Wars hotel into office space for the famous Imagineers who will be designing new lands and projects at the theme parks. The hotel’s update was reported by The Wrap and confirmed by other media outlets.

Starcruiser, which opened in March 2022 and closed in 2023, was billed as a two-night immersive experience, although some people referred to it as the “Star Wars hotel.”

Walt Disney World’s “Star Wars hotel” as it was often referred to, was a multi-day experience that attempted to make guests feel like they were part of the galaxy, far, far away to a degree never even attempted before.
