DHL Express, a division of Germany’s Deutsche Post, said it would suspend global business-to-consumer shipments worth over $800 to individuals in the United States from April 21, as US customs regulatory changes have lengthened clearance.

The logistics company DHL, which is based in Germany, said that it’s temporarily suspending deliveries from businesses abroad to consumers in the U.S. for shipments valued at more than $800 starting this week. Shipments to businesses here won’t be affected.

DHL, the international courier firm, will temporarily pause shipments to the U.S. for items with a declared value of more than $800, the company announced in a notice. The announcement said that,
