National Signing Day is dead. It has been for a while. There's a strong chance those of you reading this didn't realize it was happening today, Feb. 5. Don't worry, you aren't alone. The advent of the transfer portal and December's early signing period have made the traditional February date an afterthought.

The final signing period came and went without much news, but it still was an active day for several programs. Michigan was able to ascend within the top 10 by adding five-star tackle Ty Haywood to a class that already featured No. 1 overall prospect quarterback Bryce Underwood.

It's National Signing Day, so that means the Class of 2026 is next up. And the list of Colorado's top recruits has a distinct Fort Collins-area flair.
