Lane Kiffin's Ole Miss team will face Clay Helton's Georgia Southern team up next on the schedule, and there is plenty of connection between the two.

The path of Georgia Southern's head coach has crossed with those of Lane Kiffin and Jaxson Dart during his career.

Helton and Kiffin share the distinction of both having been head coaches at Southern Cal who were fired in-season and Helton, now at Georgia Southern, recruited Dart, now the Ole Miss quarterback and a Heisman Trophy candidate, to USC.
