One person was killed and at least six others hurt during a multivehicle crash Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 35W in Argyle that snarled the commute for hours for motorists, officials said.

DENTON COUNTY, Texas — All northbound lanes of Interstate 35 West in Argyle were shut down following a deadly accident Tuesday afternoon, officials said. The lanes have since reopened.
