Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, has announced Prof Adamu Ahmed as its new vice-chancellor. Prof Ahmed’s appointment was announced on Wednesday morning by the school’s public affairs directorate.

Rabi’u, a medical student at Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, secured the first position in the prestigious third category (male) for memorizing 60 Hizbs of the Glorious Qur’an.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) Ahmadu Bello University Zaria branch has disbursed N4.4 m scholarship to 22 indigent students studying various courses in the University.
