Southbound Loop 410 at Rigsby on the east side is back open after workers made repairs to a highway sign that police say a driver crashed into early Friday morning, resulting in traffic delays.

A man was taken to the hospital in critical condition after crashing his motorcycle into a sand barrel along Loop 410 near the San Antonio International Airport, according to San Antonio police.

SAN ANTONIO - TxDOT reported that the southbound lanes of Loop 410 at Rigsby Avenue is closed due to an accident. TxDOT advises exiting at FM 1346 and using the next entrance to get back on I-410.
