The Ole Miss Rebels had been relatively quiet in the transfer portal over the last few weeks, but that changed on Sunday as they added a commitment from former Penn State Nittany Lions wide receiver Trey Wallace.

The SEC may not be featured in the College Football Playoff National Championship, but the powerhouse conference still garners much respect, and the player commitments follow. Five of the top 10 teams in On3Sports' team transfer portal rankings are from the SEC, including three in the top five.

Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss football have added one of the top-ranked players left in the transfer portal in Harrison Wallace, a Penn State receiver.

OXFORD – Former Penn State wide receiver Harrison Wallace III – rated as a four-star transfer by 247Sports – has committed to Ole Miss, On3’s Hayes Fawcett reported Sunday.

Kiffin has prioritized transfer portal recruiting the past few seasons and it seems to have massively helped Ole Miss. They finished the 2024 college football season with a 10-3 record and a 5-3 mark in SEC play. On Sunday, the Rebels were aided in their search to reach the top of the SEC.

After capping off their 2024 season with a win in the Gator Bowl, Ole Miss football has now turned its focus to 2025. Head coach Lane Kiffin and his staff have excelled at recruiting in the transfer portal.
