LINCOLN — Penn State left with a narrow victory the last time it faced Nebraska wrestling in the Bob Devaney Sports Center.

The No. 1 Penn State Nittany Lions defeated No. 6 Nebraska 31-7 in a Big Ten wrestling match. Nittany Lions coach Cael Sanderson said Penn State "wrestled well enough" to win.

A 24-point win with three technical falls and one major decision while winning eight of 10 bouts against a top-five team made for good reviews nationwide about No. 1 Penn State more than passing the eye test Friday night in Nebraska.
