Jessica Simpson's husband Eric Johnson was spotted without his wedding band in Los Angeles on Nov. 12 as a source tells PEOPLE the pair has been spending time apart.

Simpson and Johnson first met in 2010 and quickly got engaged within six months of meeting. They welcomed daughter Maxwell, 12, and son Ace, 11, before walking down the aisle in 2014. In 2019, daughter Birdie Mae arrived and completed their family of five. Neither Simpson nor Johnson have commented publicly about any issues in their marriage.
