The Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) announced the most popular names in the state for babies in 2024. According to MSDH’s Office of Vital Records and Public Health Statistics, the most popular names were William and Olivia.

The name Charlotte has jumped the line in New Brunswick this year as one of the most popular baby names of 2024, according to preliminary results from Service New Brunswick.

The Arizona Department of Health Services has revealed the most popular baby names of 2024. More parents of newborn girls chose Olivia this year than any other. It also was the No. 1 name in 2023. Rounding out the Top 5 are Emma, Isabella, Sophia and Amelia. But the record shows there's a certain volatility to what Arizonans name their girls.

This year the state of Mississippi welcomed thousands of tiny new residents, but what names were top of mind for parents in 2024?The Mississippi State Department of Health released the top 25 most popular names for boys and girls born in the state this year.
