The win must have been a massive relief for Stolarz, who hadn't won since Feb. 28 (0-3-1). Overall, he's 14-8-3 in 26 starts, and he has a 2.42 GAA and .918 save percentage.

Tavares had two goals and Anthony Stolarz made 27 saves as Toronto defeated the Rangers 4-3 on Thursday night.

Stolarz will protect the road goal versus the Rangers on Thursday, Colin Stephenson of Newsday reports.
