We have orchestra tickets for a matinee performance in May. Two questions: how should we dress? Second, our orchestra seats are not premier...we are close to the stage but off to the side...are those bad seats? This is my husband’s first time and we didn’t want to blow a lot of money. Thanks.

Dress can be casual. People wear everything from neat jeans to fancy clothes. The building, the experience and the music are so much fun, it's fine to sit anywhere. Just enjoy!
I'm visiting from Texas next weekend and wondered how early (if rush tickets are available for the Sunday, 2pm performance) should I show up at the box office to secure a rush ticket - just one :) Thank you!

It's certainly worth a try- ring the box office first a couple of days before. The SFS is n great form and worth trying hard to get a ticket
