It was amazing to walk into the crater of an active volcano and get up-close to the vents, bubbling up mud and emitting gases. A unique experience, which comes highly recommended.Full review by AshBerDove

There are a couple of showers to rinse. Need to bring your own towel. You rinse first in the warm bathes.

When we visited St Lucia we hired a car and we did drive to the volcano and the drive is windy and are hardly any stops on the way to pull over. When at the volcano we did see a tour group that drove up in buggies that were all open so you get the fresh air as you drive around, this might be a better option rather than a car or bus for sickness. The island is very beautiful but it does have some windy roads and some very rough roads especially to some of the resorts around Soufriere.
