Hello! Thanks for your interest. Pavilion seats are under cover, so if the weather is rainy, those are the best seats to be. At this stage, it looks like a chance of rain on July 4th, but it's a little too far out to predict. The Lawn seats are less expensive but allow you to bring a picnic if you want (alcohol available for purchase on site), and your lawn chairs. We do try to move people on the Lawn under cover at the back of the Pavilion in case of rain but Pavilion seats cannot be guaranteed in this instance. Either way, we recommend purchasing in advance, as prices increase the day of the show. Tickets are $15 in advance for the lawn (kids 17 and under are free on the lawn -- no need to request a ticket in advance, just show up at the gates with your adult ticket(s), and adult tickets start at $15 obstructed view or $20 for full view in the Pavilion. Children are $15 in the Pavilion, no matter where you choose to sit. The fireworks take place over the river, so all Pavilion people need to move out onto the lawn or concourse to see the fireworks. We allow time at the end of the concert for people to make their way to these places to view the fireworks. Hope to see you there!

Sorry for the extremely late reply! We were not notified of this question pending in our inbox. For future reference, during the holiday period we recommend the Cincinnati Pops' Holiday Pops performances (early December) or the Cincinnati Ballet's productions of The Nutcracker, with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra performing! The Nutcracker performances occur closer to Christmas. You may find additional single performances of holiday-themed entertainment, which may vary from year to year, on our website. For example, the Cincinnati Pops is performing live to film Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban -- Jan. 3-5, 2020. Thanks for your interest!
