My wife & I were not able to spend as much time at the Corinium but I believe I remember seeing an area designed to appeal to children. However, I don't know how patient your 4 year-old is and how long he or she might wait for the adults to read and view exhibits. Just plan to return without the 4 year-old at another time. :-)
