The Zach is such a fun and creative space, I'm sure that, within reason and subject to decency standards, there wouldn't be a problem dressing as a performer. I'm saying this only as an audience member, not a person of authority; I did see "Hedwig" in NYC with Neil Patrick Harris years ago and recognize that the audience is very eclectic. Maybe you should call the theatre to discuss?
