Is it possible to go down the road on a bicycle and back up or is it too steep and best to leave the bikes at the top and walk down??

Unless you are used to rough, off road mountain biking (and going to be on suitable bikes), I would walk. The “road” down is earth/ rock/ gravel and part of it had flooded and left run …
