Hi, the Therma beach is free. We went in the morning and there was only a handful of people. You can get the bus from Kos Town.

Unless you are used to rough, off road mountain biking (and going to be on suitable bikes), I would walk. The “road” down is earth/ rock/ gravel and part of it had flooded and left run …
