Next to Duomo it is highly recommended to pay a visit. Nearby there are plenty of shops of the most expensive brands. If you have time you should watch an opera there.Full review by DrLombre

Smart casual is fine. You will see people in business suits and cocktail dresses but we also saw a few hipsters who were more casual. If you are going to a premiere it's a different story, people could be wearing tuxedoes and gowns. I wore a long dress and my friend wore a dress shirt and dress pants but no tie.
