Can I visit shark bay without being part of an excursion ??

Yes you can. Even the excursion I went on pretty much just drove us there and we walked out on our own. There are 'guides'there that can help you walk out and rent out shoes.
Has anybody been here whilst staying at tui hotel at Boa Vista? Just wondered how far it is?
A:
We hopped over to Boa Vista Island from Cape Verde Sal. It's a very short flight away of about 15 mins. I think it cost us around £100 for the flight and tour of the island.
