Lovely views lovely quiet walk on way from shap town the motorists were very respectfully as I was walking 3 dogs along a narrow road but if you have a sheep reactive dog I wouldn't advise it as the …Full review by Irene G

Shap to the abbey would be about a 20 minute walk. Narrow roads with walls on both sides, but there isn't much traffic. HTH
