The mud may be a great exfoliant, but the salt will cut you to shreds! Like walking on thin ice with 95F mud underneath--CAUTION!! If you break through, the collected salt crystals will slice your feet and legs open! Having said that, we collected salt and mud for our take home souvenirs! Beautiful beach on the access side, great rocky shore down the path past the salt pond.
