Hi @Chuttley ! Yes, in October restaurants are open, the Aquarium is open (and this Aquarium I really recommend you to visit). The weather in October is still great at Playa de Palma and around Majorca Island! Of course you can always bring a jacket in your baggage so you can dress it in case it feels a little bit cooer, but that'll only happen at night. Maiorca is great in October! I shall tell you one thing, we have already been to Maiorca in all months ! And in October and November we had great days on the beach!!! and not only in the south of the island but also in the north, like Alcudia and Pollença. The only beach that I eventually would not recommend you to go is C'an Picafort and I tell you why: because C'an Picafort is quite in a corner of the island and for that reason it's more windy, even in summertime. The only thing is that you'll find it less crowdy because most of the schools in Europe are starting the new year so in September one thing that you can be sure of is that there'll be less number of tourists, even though many tourists will be enjoying their holidays in that period. Coming here in August as part of cruise port of call. From the reviews playa de Palma seems like a crazy young German party beach. Is there a more quite beach area in playa de Palma / promenade area. Also are the restaurants all fake German food or is there local Spanish cuisine? Thank you!

There are many other beaches but even that beach is a totally mixture of ages and all other. I am sure you will enjoy your stay
