I have read conflicting reviews on here saying you can pay to take an elevator, and others saying there is no elevator. I assume the elevator is available but at a cost. Can someone please confirm that the elevator is accessible to all (and still accesses the same level as the stairs), and tell me how much it costs to climb the tower using the elevator? Thank you!

Please buy tickets in advance (mass tourism everywhere) in order to avoid the crowds in the afternoon. July may be hot, consider going there in the morning. Afterwards take a walk through the nice park to Strahov monastery. You will be then behind the Prague castle and can start another lovely walk there.
