Dr. John Urse, DO, FAOAO Specializes in Orthopedic Surgery Dr. Urse is the senior and founding physician of Orthopedic Associates, with 29 years of practice in Dayton. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Osteopathic Association and trained in joint preservation surgeries of the hip, knee and shoulder. These include arthroscopic procedures and computer-assisted partial and total joint replacement surgeries. Dr. Urse has a special interest in hip arthroscopy, particularly in reshaping the ball and socket of the hip joint to prevent early arthritis and need for joint replacements.
