Monarto Safari Park, formerly known as Monarto Zoo, is the largest safari park that will exist outside of Africa, spanning more than 1,500 hectares and home to more than 50 species of exotic and native mammals, birds and reptile. Home to many of Africa’s most impressive animals and one of Australia’s largest lion prides and giraffe herds, Monarto Safari Park is an escape from the city that immerses visitors in a natural safari-style setting. We did the lions 360 experience and it was amazing. We spent the day there and it was by far the highlight of South Australia for us. Would go back in a heartbeat. Gotta give it a go 11 out of 10Full review by Rebecca D

Best zoo I’ve been at definitely recommend visiting. Air conditioned shuttle busses and heaps of walking tracks. They have kept the land as it and is not like any other zoo that had become a concrete…Full review by Mishekayle

How re we supposed to communicate with the zoo?? Not answering phone all day or emails!

We never rang them, just booked entry tickets online for roughly 9.00am when they open, but you can get there later, just showed email booking on phone at gate no problems.

You can access the close exhibits by wheelchair and the bus trip around the zoo to see the animals is definitely worth doing. The day we were there someone was using a wheelchar but I don't know if it was his own or if it was provided by the Zoo.
