You can take your pooch to the site, but I doubt they will allow the pup in the Museum. They have a driving tour of the old grounds that the pooch can drive around with you on. A quick dash into the Museum and a look around and you get the idea of what the layout of the grounds once was. Hop in the car, take the drive tour and everybody is happy.
Visitor's center is worth about an hour. Walking around the outside and seeing the reproductions of barracks, chow hall, apartments is worth about another hour. I'd plan on two …
Visitor's center is worth about an hour. Walking around the outside and seeing the reproductions of barracks, chow hall, apartments is worth about another hour. I'd plan on two hours minimum if you really want to see and learn.
