Agree with both answers here. I do think that Mt. Irvine beach (I have never stayed at the hotel) is the best swimming beach I have visited in Tobago, and my local family all say the same. The beach at Store Bay is nice but you can't as easily (or safely) swim out, if swimming is your thing. Also, Mt. Irvine beach is quieter, so depends on what you want.
