Well worth visiting, the castle is free to enter and spiral steps take you up 5 floors, with restored rooms on some levels. Great views of the estuary. Small carpark. Full review by johndaunt

Worth popping into this 16th century castle if passing nearby. Open 10-5 May -Oct. Ruins are in good nick with a few rooms restored. You can climb to the top which offers great views across the estua… Full review by anthonyr505

Excellent castle remains seven stories high. Unique design. Very strong stonework. Two huge arched rooms formed its main base with rooms to the side on multiple levels. Definitely worth the visit. Full review by Breach21
